Bright reddish sandstone cliffs lining the beach contrast sharply with the grayish-brown shoreline at Cape Chignecto Provincial Park in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Cape Chignecto is on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, home of the highest tides in the world. The tides at Cape Chignecto rise as high as 11 meters (36 feet), within reach of the base of these cliffs.
